Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit ClearPath Guides, who collects it, and the choices you have. In short: our calculators keep your numbers in your own browser, and the site itself does not run its own database of visitor information.

Who we are

ClearPath Guides ("ClearPath Guides," "we," "us," or "our") is an informational website offering mortgage calculators and home-buying guides. It is operated under the ClearPath Guides name from Pakistan. The site is hosted on Google's Blogger platform.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not run our own database of visitor information. Information may be collected in the following limited ways, each described in more detail below:

  • Technical data collected by Google as the operator of the Blogger platform, such as server logs, IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
  • Cookies that Blogger may set, for example for signed-in Google users, comments, and Blogger's built-in pageview statistics.
  • Information you choose to share, such as a public comment or an email you send us.
  • Analytics or advertising data, only if those services are enabled as described below.

Our calculators

All ClearPath Guides calculators run entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. This means:

  • The numbers you enter (such as home price, income, debts, or interest rate) are not sent to us or to any server.
  • Your inputs are not stored. The calculators do not use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to save them.
  • Your inputs disappear when you close or reload the page.
  • If you use a CSV download option, the file is generated locally in your browser and saved to your device. It is not uploaded anywhere.

The site's theme does not load third-party scripts of its own — no external fonts, analytics, or advertising scripts by default.

Blogger hosting and cookies

ClearPath Guides is hosted on Blogger, a service operated by Google. When you visit any page, Google processes standard technical data, such as your IP address, browser and device information, the page requested, and the date and time, in order to deliver the site, keep it secure, and operate the platform. Google handles this data under the Google Privacy Policy.

Blogger may set cookies, for example to recognize signed-in Google users, to support the comment system, and to count pageviews for Blogger's built-in statistics. These statistics are shown to us only in aggregate form (such as total pageviews and popular pages). In certain regions, such as the European Union, Blogger may display its own cookie notice to visitors.

Comments

Some articles may allow comments through Blogger's built-in comment system. Depending on the site's settings, commenting may require you to sign in with a Google account or to provide a name. Comments are public. Anything you post, including your name or profile, can be seen by anyone visiting the page. Please do not include personal or financial details in comments. Comment data is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. You can ask us to remove a comment you posted by contacting us.

Contacting us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to read and respond to you and, where relevant, to correct or improve the site. We do not sell it or add you to a mailing list. If we add a contact form to the site, the form collects your name, email address, and message, which Blogger delivers to the site owner by email; we use that information in the same way.

Analytics

If we enable Google Analytics, it will use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We would use this information only in aggregate to understand which content is useful and to improve the site. Google processes this data under its own policies; see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

If we display advertising through Google AdSense, the following applies:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's My Ad Center or Ads Settings.
  • If other third-party vendors or ad networks serve ads on this site, you can opt out of some vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices.

For more on how Google uses data when you visit sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Advertising never influences our content or calculator results; see our Editorial Policy.

Our articles link to other websites, such as government agencies and other reference sources. We do not control those sites, and this policy does not apply to them. Please review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Children's privacy

ClearPath Guides is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention and security

We do not operate our own servers or database for this site. Technical data, cookies, comments, and statistics are stored and secured by Google as part of the Blogger platform, under Google's retention and security practices. Emails you send us are kept in our email account only as long as reasonably needed to respond and keep a record of corrections, and are deleted when no longer needed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, which is one reason we ask you never to send sensitive financial information.

Your choices

  • Cookies: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies will not affect our calculators, which do not rely on them.
  • Google settings: You can review and control data Google holds about you through your Google account and My Ad Center.
  • Comments and emails: You can ask us to delete a comment you posted or an email you sent us.
  • Calculator inputs: There is nothing to delete — your inputs are never stored.

U.S. state privacy rights

Some U.S. states give their residents rights over personal information, which may include the right to know what information a business has collected, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale of personal information or its use for targeted advertising. Whether these laws apply depends on the size and activities of the business. We do not sell personal information. Regardless of where you live, you may contact us with a privacy request, and we will respond to the extent the request relates to information we hold. Requests about data held by Google should be made through Google's own tools.

International visitors

ClearPath Guides is intended for U.S. audiences. If you visit from outside the United States, information processed by Google may be transferred to and stored in the United States or other countries where Google operates, under Google's privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site changes — for example, if we add analytics, advertising, or a contact form. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Please check back periodically.
